Bureau Veritas & Siveco will jointly hold a seminar on interpreting the ISO 55001 Asset Management – Management Systems standard on May 10th in Bureau Veritas Shanghai office.
The well-known ISO 55000 series of standards also exist as Chinese standard GB/T33172-2016, approved by the Standard Administration of the People's Republic of China on October 13, 2016, effective since May 1, 2017. However popular they may be, these standards have proven particularly elusive, confusing and perhaps disappointing for technical managers in China. ISO 55000 often appears to be too detached from industry reality, too theoretical, as its terminology is easily misunderstood by people not used to the typical ISO phraseology. The typical reaction of readers in China is "is that all?", "of course we already have all that!" and "show me more details!".
Siveco China has a long history using the ISO 55000 series of standard as a framework for O&M improvement projects for industrial plants and infrastructure projects in China, while Bureau Veritas brings unparalleled experience in consulting and certification. The two companies have a strong track record of cooperation in China and abroad.
In this half-day event, experts from Bureau Veritas and Siveco China will provide their professional interpretation of ISO 55001 Asset Management – Management Systems standard, its usefulness and implementation in China and introduce a set of management methodology that combines theory with smart solutions.
Pre-registration for this event is mandatory, please contact the organizing team at
