As part of the bluebee® roadshow, a seminar on "Municipal infrastructures maintenance in 3G times" will be held on December 9, in Shanghai.
Municipal infrastructures maintenance in 3G times
Best practices from France & China
Municipal infrastructures in China are facing increasing maintenance challenges due to their sheer scale and constant expansion, their technical complexity, and rising media coverage of incidents. While Chinese projects have historically looked at the West for references and technology, experience have shown that Western models cannot simply be replicated to China; instead there is a growing awareness that new ways have to be invented locally. In this context of "maintenance with Chinese characteristics", modern technologies such as cloud computing and mobile technologies are revolutionizing the way infrastructure projects operate.
In this half-day event, organized by the French Trade Commission, a team from Siveco China, the country's largest maintenance consultancy and Europe's largest CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) supplier, will share experience of reaching operational excellence using advanced maintenance technologies. The presentation will be entirely based on case studies from France and China, with an emphasis on mobile technologies for the "technician of tomorrow". Real systems will be demonstrated during this seminar, targeting decision-makers in all municipal infrastructure projects including airport, gas, metro, railway, road, water, waste etc. from Shanghai and neighboring cities.
