Siveco in alliance with onePoint to help industrial SMEs optimize their maintenance
Siveco, the leading maintenance consultancy in China, has announced a partnership with IT service provider onePoint. The alliance aims at bringing the benefits of implementing Siveco's COSWIN Maintenance Management Systems to small to mid-size manufacturers. Often reluctant to invest in solutions perceived as too advanced for them, smaller enterprises tend to struggle for months with Excel or Access-based systems developed in-house. Alternatively, they install cheap software that inevitably fail to deliver tangible industrial benefits, due to lack of qualified support.
"If you think you are too small for COSWIN, think again!" says Bruno Lhopiteau, General Manager of Siveco China and a 12-years veteran of the Chinese maintenance market. "Our experience working with smaller manufacturing plants has proven that ROI can be obtained within 1 year, pretty much in line with results obtained on larger scale plants. On the contrary, industrial SMEs that lack the financial muscle of their larger counterparts, are often under much more pressure to limit CAPEX and to optimize existing capacity by improving their maintenance."
The joint Siveco-onePoint offering is based on a prepackaged COSWIN solution, configured for mid-size companies with small maintenance teams. OnePoint IT specialists, certified on COSWIN, will install the solution, setup the plant database, coach users to start using the system and provide long term support. A Siveco maintenance expert will involve in the project to guarantee that the solution implemented addresses the customer's industrial needs.
onePoint China is the latest company to join Siveco China's Value Added Partner Program (VAPP). The VAPP, launched in 2006, aims at providing better access to Siveco's well-recognized COSWIN solution for customers all over the country. The program, with its comprehensive training and certification process, also provides significant profit-sharing opportunities to partners with strong expertise in their industrial or geographical areas.
