LBC Shanghai Shipping Terminal to improve risk prevention with bluebee®

In a context of increasing regulatory oversight and tough market conditions, LBC Shanghai Shipping Terminal has selected Siveco's bluebee® solution to further enhance the terminal's risk management processes. LBC Shanghai Shipping Terminal () operates a bulk liquid chemicals and petroleum products storage terminal in Waigaoqiao, Shanghai. The company is a joint-venture between LBC Tank Terminals (Belgium) and Shanghai Shipping (COSCO Group).
The project is designed to take LBC Shanghai Shipping Terminal through all the steps of implementing a sustainable risk prevention management system, in compliance with the ISO 55000 Asset Management and ISO 31000 Risk Management standards. Onsite personnel will use bluebee® on explosion-proof ATEX-certified Android phones and connect to the back-office database bluebee® cloud. The solution is provided on a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) basis, letting the project team focus on critical business processes rather than IT. As of January 2017, over 1,000 sites are using bluebee® cloud in China, mostly large multisite facility operators.
