Jiangsu Sino French Wastewater Treatment division deploys Siveco's Smart O&M
2020-05-14
The wastewater division of Jiangsu Sino French Water, which serves over 1 million inhabitants and operates 9 sewage treatment plants and 56 pumping stations, has deployed Siveco's Smart O&M solution. Faced with continuous urban development and tightening environmental regulations, Chinese wastewater treatment companies are striving to utilize smart technologies to improve their quality of service while increasing performance and reducing operations and maintenance costs.
The Smart O&M project was designed jointly with Siveco to standardize work processes in line with the ISO 55000 Asset Management standard and to capitalize on the vast operational know-how accumulated by Jiangsu Sino French Wastewater teams. As a company already well recognized in the Chinese water industry for its excellence in the field of digitalization, Jiangsu Sino French Water aimed at utilizing the best technologies available in the market.
After a rapid implementation process, the O&M teams now use Siveco's system on a daily basis. The mobile inspection app ensures workers follow standard operating procedures, while improving feedback directly in the central database for analysis and decision-making purposes. The solution closes the "ISO 55000 improvement loop" between field workers and decision makers, enabling continuous improvement.
