2018-10-22
On October 26, Siveco China Managing Director Bruno Lhopiteau and VP Paul Wang are invited to attend the 5th Wuhan Sino-French Eco-City Forum. Paul Wang will also give a speech during the "Green Economy" session of the conference.
The Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration city is a demonstration of sustainable development technologies and experience in the areas of urban planning, design, construction and management between China and France. The last Sino-French Eco-City Forum received more than 500 representatives from Chinese and French companies and institutions. This forum aims to continue to gather enterprises and experts from cities in China and France, with a view to focusing on the development of industries in all areas of the city (energy, transportation, construction, ecology, urban environment, water and garbage disposal, etc) and future eco-city (information technology, cultural experience, health care, green industry, intelligent transportation and entrepreneurial services).
Under the theme "The technician in the eco-city: towards the knowledge economy", Paul Wang will share practical experience of delivering solutions to optimize the lifecycle of Chinese infrastructures over the past 20 years, which reflects the current transition of the Chinese society towards the knowledge-economy. The presentation will focus on case studies in China rather than theory from abroad and aims at explaining about how advanced technical management can support the eco-city and its distributed high-tech infrastructures.
