Feedback on Kunshan and Beijing conferences on maintenance improvement

The Kunshan event, organized by Kunshan Expat Association, was attended by around 30 top managers from multinational manufacturing companies operating in the city. The short introductory presentation was followed by a lively Q&A session on how to tackle maintenance issues and conversations continued offered a buffer dinner. Kunshan Connection, a local business magazine, will publish a series of articles on Industrial Excellence in China, written by Siveco and partners over the coming months. The first article offers a good summary of the presentation made in Kunshan (Industrial Excellence in China – The Importance of Maintenance to Low-Cost Manufacturing). At , Siveco partner TXM will speak on Lean Manufacturing – the Siveco team will also be on attendance that day.
The Beijing event, organized by the French Chamber of Commerce in China and Beihang Sino-French Engineering School, took the form of a round-table meeting with half-a-dozen technical service companies based in Beijing. The presentation covered an overview of the local construction and maintenance market, as well as several case studies in real estate and industrial project. The event's meeting room overlooked the new French Embassy, where Siveco provided maintenance engineering services and one of the case study discussed during the Q&A session.
