A world-leading international candy manufacturer has selected Siveco for the implementation of a maintenance improvement system at its Guangzhou factory, which produces candies for local and export markets.
This project marks Siveco's entry into the Chinese Food & Beverage production market, an industry facing strong regulatory requirements and increasing government and public scrutiny. Siveco China already has significant experience with parts of the food chain in China: upstream with ingredient manufacturers, downstream with food retailers. Siveco Group has a long history in the highly developed European food & beverage industry, with historical customers such as Danone, Kraft-Lu, Nestle and United Biscuits.
This latest contract also adds to the growing list of Siveco customers in South China's Guangdong province, which includes Carrefour (retail, 20+ sites), Changcheng Property Group (facilities management, 30+ sites), International Paper (packaging) and Magneti Marelli (automotive supplier).
